For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption…
Romans 8:15
Fear is a deceptive weapon the enemy likes to use to keep us in bondage. We may have some battle scars and old wounds from past encounters with satan’s deceptive tricks, but that doesn’t mean he’s conquered anything, or won the war. We know better, from God’s word. Those who follow Christ are free from the slavery of the fear of death, Hebrews 2:15.
We no longer have to bend a knee to insecurities the enemy has placed in our path. We don’t have to bend a knee to rejection. We don’t have to bend a knee to people pleasing. We are adopted into the family of God, through Christ, and are heirs with Christ, Romans 8:17.
Satan only has whatever ground we allow him to have, and that scrawny liar is on a short leash. When we submit to God and resist the lies of satan, he has to flee from us, James 4:7.
The time is now to stand strong on what we know is true. The only truth that has been and will be solid throughout eternity. The truth of our god and savior, Jesus Christ.
Generations have carried the torch since Christ first came to share His eternal plan with humanity. That plan has not changed. He is still relevant today. He has still conquered the grave and taken the keys of death from the enemy. We are still victorious in Christ. Satan’s lies are still lies and God’s truth is still truth.
Put on your armor with confidence in our King of kings. Stand firm on His word, as victory is already ours!
Fear not!
